Can you believe this song is almost 40 years old?
One of my favourite Gorillaz songs to celebrate I just got tickets to watch them live again!
The funky guitar, keys and bass really sell it.
This song was present in at least a few all nighters I spent doing university assignments.
Just hit play.
This may be a very niche reference, but this was the song used by Nokia to promote the Nseries phones. It came in my Nokia N95 — I loved that phone! Served me well until it fell out of my pocket in an amusement park ride and basically exploded. I digress… anyway, this song is cool!
This is an absolute banger, and a classic eurodance song to get everyone hyped up. Happy Friday!
One of my favourite songs for chilling, relaxing, and emptying my mind.
This song has an aura of mystery. Jamie Irrepressible has a few collabs with Röyksopp, and they're all great. Here is the first one I'm adding to this list.
The layered vocals and the percussion in this song are particularly nice!
This album has quite a few bangers, and this is my favourite.
I really like songs like this one, that are built on top of a single sample.
Brand new Tame Impala song, hot off the press!
One of my favourites from Kraftwerk, particularly for the bass lines.
I was going through a friend’s old playlists, looking for inspiration for today, and found this banger!
A classic from Ladytron. I'm always glad when this gets thrown into my shuffle mix.
This song showed up on my recommendations 2 days ago. Nice beats.
This album was released while I was in an airport, going back home from a conference in 2013. I was desperately trying to download it on the airport Wi-Fi while they announced final calls for boarding. Thankfully I made it and my 8-hour flight got an awesome soundtrack. The whole album is a masterpiece, and Touch is one of my all-time favourite Daft Punk songs.
Probably my favourite song from this album, and part of my heavy rotation back in university.
Muse has some great songs, and I particularly like this one. Maybe it is the piano (it usually is).
