Probably my favourite song from this album, and part of my heavy rotation back in university.
Week 35 of 2025
Muse has some great songs, and I particularly like this one. Maybe it is the piano (it usually is).
This song has it all: it is groovy, catchy, has a cool music video and, on top of everything else, it is also educational!
I love the synths and vocals in this song, which makes me want to listen to it over and over. I can tell because it showed up on my Spotify Wrapped more times than I can remember.
Romy's voice never fails to enchant me.
This song transports me back to some very specific moments in my life, when my friends and I would watch cover bands playing indie songs in questionable venues while drinking equally questionable wine. Good memories, for sure.
This is not the original version of this song. The original by Robert Palmer is good too, but this version by Todd Terje scratches my brain quite nicely. I think it is the echoes of the synth.
A great song for when you can't let these robots defeat you.
