I grew up watching detective shows and, one day after school, I was watching Cold Case when this song played near the end of the episode. It really caught my attention and I went to look it up online instantly.

This song appears in two of my favourite TV series of all times: Mr. Robot and Severance.

This is the kind of music that sounds old and new at the same time — which is how many of my favourite songs also sound.

When I first heard this song, I thought it sounded a lot like Kings of Convenience. Turns out Erlend Øye is indeed half of that duo, and I just hadn't yet heard his work under his solo brand.

This song evokes a feeling of nostalgia. Like many other Beach House tracks, this one is part of my chill music rotation.

This is one of those tracks I can listen to on repeat. The soothing melody and how nicely it incorporates its sample stood out to me straight away.

I love the fact that Keane plays mostly with a piano as the lead instrument, instead of a guitar. Their tracks have this characteristic sound, almost like a signature, and this one is no exception.
